CadreForge Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 14 July 2026
These terms explain the rules for using CadreForge. By creating an account or using CadreForge, you agree to these terms.
1. Who We Are
CadreForge is operated by Joshua Morgan, trading as JRM Technology.
If you need to contact us about these terms, you can email: JoshuaReubenMorgan@gmail.com
2. What CadreForge Is
CadreForge is a web app for tabletop miniature hobbyists. It helps users manage armies, units, paint racks, paint recipes, checklists, uploaded hobby images, progress records, and hobby time tracking.
CadreForge is currently being developed and may be offered as a private alpha, beta, preview, or early access service. This means some features may be incomplete, changed, unavailable, removed, or reset during testing.
3. Unofficial Hobby Tool
CadreForge is an unofficial hobby tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Games Workshop, Warhammer, Citadel, Vallejo, The Army Painter, or any other tabletop game, miniature, or paint manufacturer unless clearly stated otherwise.
All third-party names, game names, faction names, unit names, trademarks, logos, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners. They may be referenced only to help users organise their own hobby collections and records.
4. Accounts
You may need an account to use CadreForge. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens through your account.
You must provide accurate account information and must not create an account using someone else's details without permission.
You should contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
5. Age Requirements
CadreForge is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, you should only use CadreForge with permission from a parent or guardian.
6. Your Content
You may be able to add or upload content to CadreForge, including army data, unit data, paint rack entries, paint recipes, notes, checklist items, progress records, time logs, and hobby-related images.
You keep ownership of the content you add to CadreForge. By adding or uploading content, you give us permission to store, display, process, copy, back up, and use that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve CadreForge.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload or add any content you place in CadreForge. You must not upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, or any other rights belonging to another person or organisation.
7. Uploaded Images
If you upload images, they should be hobby-related and should either be your own images or images you have permission to use.
We may remove uploaded images or other content if we believe they are unlawful, infringe someone else's rights, breach these terms, create a security risk, or are otherwise unsuitable for CadreForge.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not use CadreForge to:
- break the law or encourage unlawful activity;
- upload or share content you do not have the right to use;
- harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other people;
- upload malware, scripts, or harmful files;
- attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or areas you are not allowed to access;
- interfere with the operation, security, or performance of CadreForge;
- scrape, copy, or extract large amounts of data from CadreForge without permission;
- use CadreForge in a way that could damage the service or other users.
9. Beta and Test Data
During alpha, beta, preview, or early access testing, CadreForge may change quickly. Features, layouts, data structures, game systems, paint catalogues, and user workflows may be changed, removed, or rebuilt.
We will try to avoid unnecessary data loss, but during testing your data may be reset, deleted, changed, or become incompatible with later versions. You should not rely on CadreForge as your only copy of important hobby records during early testing.
10. Paint, Game, and Unit Data
CadreForge may include paint catalogues, game systems, factions, units, battlefield roles, and other reference information. We aim to keep this useful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free.
Paint colours, swatches, hex values, product names, and compatibility information are provided for convenience and may not exactly match real-world paint results.
11. Availability
We aim to keep CadreForge available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, security reasons, technical issues, or changes to the service.
12. Changes to CadreForge
We may update, change, add, or remove features at any time. This may include changes to the dashboard, armories, paint rack, paint recipes, checklists, time tracking, game data, and other parts of the service.
13. Free Access and Future Paid Features
CadreForge may currently be free to use during testing or early access. We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, account limits, or premium plans in the future.
If paid features are added, we will provide relevant pricing, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund information before you are charged.
14. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or delete your account if you breach these terms, misuse CadreForge, create security risks, infringe other people's rights, or use the service in a way that could harm CadreForge or other users.
You may stop using CadreForge at any time. If you want your account deleted, contact us using the email address above.
15. Privacy and Cookies
Our privacy notice explains how we collect, use, store, and delete personal information. It also explains our current use of essential cookies for login, security, authentication, and session preferences such as "Remember me".
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are added in future, the privacy notice and cookie information will be updated, and consent controls will be introduced where required.
16. Intellectual Property
CadreForge, including its design, layout, branding, code, features, original icons, original graphics, and original written content, belongs to us unless stated otherwise.
You must not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, or create competing services from CadreForge content, code, data, or design without permission, except where allowed by law.
Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of CadreForge or any third-party intellectual property referenced within the service.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
CadreForge may contain links or references to third-party websites, products, manufacturers, game systems, or services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, availability, or accuracy.
18. No Professional Advice
CadreForge is a hobby management tool. Information in CadreForge is provided for general hobby organisation only and should not be treated as legal, financial, professional, or official game rules advice.
19. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss of data arising from your use of CadreForge.
During alpha, beta, preview, or early access testing, you understand that CadreForge may contain bugs, incomplete features, and changing data structures.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we will try to give reasonable notice, such as by updating the date at the top of this page or notifying users within CadreForge.
If you continue using CadreForge after the terms are updated, you will be treated as accepting the updated terms.
21. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there is a dispute, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
